Outstanding thermal imaging quality and optimized size, weight and power characterize the new family of EVIDIR infrared camera modules for thermal imaging. Based on state-of-the art 12 µm uncooled microbolometer technology, EVIDIR infrared camera modules deliver sharp and detailed thermal images with a temperature resolution better than 40 mK NETD at a resolution of up to 640 x 480 IR pixels. With optional radiometric calibration, the lightweight thermal imaging modules turn into ultra-compact thermographic camera modules with remarkable ±3 K measuring accuracy.

Thanks to their small size, low weight, and low power consumption, EVIDIR infrared camera modules easily integrate into all kinds of vehicles, worn or handheld devices, for example, into unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), drones, or automated ground vehicles, as well as into bodycams police and firefighting units.

EVIDIR alpha infrared camera modules are designed for visualization of temperature distributions. With optional radiometric calibration, we transform thermal imaging camera modules into true thermographic camera modules for exact temperature measurement. Depending on model and configuration, an EVIDIR infrared camera module captures 640 x 480 IR pixels per image frame, performing more than 300 thousand single temperature measurements per frame.

Jenoptik’s unique system competency ranges from infrared optics design & production to infrared sensor evaluation to radiometric camera calibration. All requirements for reliable camera system calibration are under our control. Our goal: providing you with precise and reliable temperature data for best results in any application.

EVIDIR alpha is a family of compact ready-to-use infrared camera modules that offer a huge set of standard configuration options, for example, different infrared lenses, sensor resolutions, communication interfaces or shutterless operation. Also, you can choose between infrared module options for vison and calibrated thermographic modules for radiometry. Our lightweight standard camera modules with GigE-Vision interface are configured for “plug-and-play” and are ready-to-use for numerous thermal imaging and thermography applications.

Our standard configurations do not match your requirements? No problem! The modular platform approach of EVIDIR alpha infrared camera modules enables easy adaptation to individual customer needs, or infrared camera cores tailored either for special applications or for OEM customers. A SDK allows easy control and camera configuration.

So if you need a thermal imaging solution matching a special, demanding application and have no luck with other manufacturers that only offer off-the-shelf solutions, then you should really talk to us.
